| Jay NE Ohio - 5/8/2026 07:19 Why did they choose the Hoegemeyer name over the others? I've never seen that name in my area and therefore it does not trigger any sentimental or emotional feelings for me.
I would venture a guess that they choose to keep the name/brand that covered the biggest area with the most volume of sales.
I've heard of Dairyland and Nutech but I wouldn't have any idea if anyone around here sells it. Years ago we planted a lot of Nutech, but that was long before they were owned by Dupont and then Corteva. Haven't seen any signs along any roads in forever for either brand.
The other company that's disappearing I've never even heard of.
