East Central Arkansas | I also wait before sharping blades in the Spring. We have some many trees there is no way to keep all the limbs picked up. Often end up hitting some that are hiding which are bigger than you like to run through your machine. Put a mulching kit on the JD Fastback rear discharge machine last Fall thinking it would do a better job with leaves. Ended up taking it off after my first mowing this Spring as I was having buildup issues under the deck. I should have sharpened the regular blades when I put them back on but didn't. | |
