northeastern Ohio | Why did they choose the Hoegemeyer name over the others? I've never seen that name in my area and therefore it does not trigger any sentimental or emotional feelings for me.
Seed Consultants has been popular in Ohio for the past 20 years, but I doubt it has much impact outside of Ohio. I can understand why they would discontinue that nameplate.
Dairyland Seed is a well known brand name, but again, it didn't have any presence in Ohio. Feels like a Wisconsin company geared toward forage genetics. I can see why they didn't pick this name, but at least the name was recognizable and easier to spell :)
NuTech is a catchy name. I know there has been some of their seed planted around here, but never seemed to grow beyond that. But to me, it seems like a better brand name than Hoegemeyer. | |
