S IL | Yes and no. SomnoDent and other dorsal fin appliances can be used in severe cases if the patient is CPAP intolerant or with combination therapy with a CPAP so that the air pressure is much less. For example I went from 73 episodes per hour down to 4 with the dorsal fin only. Seems like a million years ago now but my ex and I were the largest providers of Somnodent in the US for awhile, then switched to Prosomnus and then were their largest provider.
