Croswell, Michigan | I’m running a JD 1770NT 16 row, JD single disc openers, John Blue piston pump running an inline orifice for each row. Using the book setting to get 15gpa with a #59 orifice at 5-5.5mph gets the pressure up around 60psi. I have confirmed my pump setting using John Blue’s online calculator and am using the correct orifice listed in the manual. This just seems too high to me. I’d like to run a bigger orifice and get the pressure down in the 20-30 range. Any problem doing that? | |
