South Central, IL | I feel like I get more consistent depth with our DB60 on 20’s with row cleaners vs. the old 1790 with just a coulter. Row cleaners allow for residue to be moved out of the way rather than a coulter hair pinning the residue down. Have not had any issues with residue during harvest. When crossing the old corn rows it’s still tough to hammer them into the ground. And on DB planters, having 36 rows saves some weight compared to a 24/47 row splitter. | |
