I don't consider that super red neck. That is just a normal day farming. But I am from the south so maybe I don't know any better.
The cost of machinery and especially parts motivates me to be creative. Today's example. Needed an addition implement switch on my JD 1990 CCS air seeder. JD parts want $368 for theirs. My red neck fix: $15 micro switch with a stainess steel wiper plade insert zip tied to the little arm.
Do you ever do any super redneck stuff to keep from spending money?
