Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | Corner machines are generally not worth it. They have priced themselves out of the market.
Tire size affects track depth, but it really comes down to your soil type. To help reduce track, bigger tires and shorter spans are better. Obviously there’s a trade off there since shorter spans also means more tracks.
Make hay around the field (prep and drill it that way too) and never put a windrow on a track.
Go with whatever electric brand you like and don’t fall for them upselling you on the panel and related electronics. The old school basic panels get the water on just fine and don’t have computer boards or LCD screens to fritz out and subscriptions to pay and manage forever. You don’t need that extra trouble.
