C IL | Tractor is a green 1986 version of a 9130 Steiger with the powershift transmission. Looks like transmission output shaft is throwing some oil around on the brake rotor and caliper. Maybe 8k hours on tractor. Mostly pulls a planter and a grain cart some for the bean combine.
A year ago the park brake/rotor/output shaft got extremely hot when someone inexperienced drove it around half a day on a grain cart with the parking brake on. Like melted grease in the U joint oil smoke point hot. Which could have damaged seals, bearings, all sorts of stuff.
Is this a fix it from the back and underneath of the transmission job, or a pull the transmission off the bottom sort of job? As in, is there a bearing I can access from outside to replace or take the whole trans apart? Parts diagram not clear.
