coast of Maine | The border never was fun but it was predictable.Now it is a toss up of easy cross or an extra day.We just ran into driver staying an extra day in hotel as at the border there was items listed as 2000 liters instead of 2000 lbs of product.Just a number.Then the border received a pre cross 24 notice doc that they could not open.Stupid mess from something as simple as it can be.The Jackman ,Me border is so remote zero cell service.You need to go back into Canada to use the phone.They do not allow use of their wifi.So you need to re immigrate to Canada, then exit and re immigrate into the USA. to use the darn cel phone..I have a friend whom crosses every week.Just parts shuffle.He has 100's of crossings under his belt.Said it is now a major cluster.Be aware ,assume nothing.Maybe we could call it Border Roulette.. | |
