Riverton Wyoming | I'm thinking of putting in a center pivot and all I know is the basics. At this point I'm not married to any one brand.
Within about a two hour radius we have a T&L, Valley, Zimmatic, Pierce, and Reinke.
Is a swing arm worth the extra cost to irrigate the corners? I could irrigate the corners with gated pipe.
I want to try to avoid having deep pivot ruts. I have a buddy that has a pivot and he ends up with some pretty deep ruts; I was baling his hay here a couple years ago and thought I had a flat on the tractor, I was down in the rut. I would like to avoid that if possible. Do some tires make less ruts than others?
