Southeast Colorado | We received an email from our local office a month ago, followed by a national post card sent out two weeks ago. My wife responded to the first email and they told us to be patient and they'd get back with us. We haven't heard anything but should probably check into it.
It used to be that having a bigger corn base was the way to go when it comes to the possibility of better payments. I'm not sure about that anymore. Sorghum seems to pay better. And even lowly wheat has kicked out some PLC payments where corn didn't.
So bottom line.............I'm not even sure I'd change anything if they offer it. It's kind of like electing PLC or ARC. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. | |
