When we stopped worrying about the pounds of down pressure and pounds of margin and just set it so there is 98%-99% contact everything starting working better. Was a dealer recommendation and it works for us unless it is really dry. Then we have to run more to keep the trench from collapsing before the see hits the bottom.
I'm just curious, what was the improvement you saw, ie what was not working good and got better? What planter model are you running? |
