On a deere you have a margin, im any where between 90-130 in worked ground and 130-160 in no till. We were told to watch gauge wheel to keep them 98-100% contact. You don't want them to stay on 100% then you have too much margin is what we were told. Were on second year and once you figure them out, I would never go back.
