Same farm as t-boss SC IA | I have what is called small fiber neuropathy & it has nothing to do with diabetes. Mine was discovered when I went in to have tarsal tunnel done on my foot. The podiatrist took a sample out of the front of my leg & had it tested. Then I went to a neurologist & she confirmed that was what I had by doing more nerve testing. My toes are numb & the feet in general feel weird so sometimes I don’t walk as well as I would like. I am now on a prescribed supplement for this problem. I’ve only been on it less than a month & it apparently takes a few months to know if it helps or not. This is something that my podiatrist recommended I try to see if it will help. I’ve dealt with this for years so a quick fix isn’t going to happen! Not all neuropathy is related to diabetes & lots of people don’t realize that as it’s more common in people with diabetes. |
