Corn is the easier route with your equipment, but if you can find a way to plant the beans you almost need not worry about spraying beyond getting a pre-emerge chemical down to control grass (and this too could be optional if you do full tillage).

You can walk 20 acres in a few mornings, chopping or pulling any broadleaf weeds that come up. It'll build character... at least that's what Dad said back in the 70's.

This would also cheapen your seed cost, as you could buy non-gmo seed.
