I'm planting non treated beans as well. Northeast Nebraska. Right or wrong we will see. I used to have a portable seed treater and would custom treat beans. There is a lot of margin on treating soybeans which is probably why the seed dealers push it so hard. I never saw a yield difference in any of my trials. Not saying that beans couldn't use a little more protection but how long does some of these seed treatments last and how much benefit are they really providing. Have pests adapted to the treatments as well? We have been using the same treatments year after year. Hopefully I don't have a train wreck but time will tell.
