a) could you find a set of soybean meters to use in the planter available to you?

b) what would it cost you to get a set of soybean meters?

As far as the fear of using soybean chemistry ..... that is just a matter of educating yourself.  Lots and lots of guys use the same sprayer for spraying corn and soybeans.

I like the idea of you doing work yourself.  Part of what you are wanting to do is to get actual experience.  Going the route of paying someone to do the work really doesn't get you experience.  However..... if that is what you need to do... then that is what you need to do.

Good luck.

P.S.  I like the idea that is suggested below to look for a drill that you can rent.
