Repin the connector.
Before you get too involved take a picture of the wire colors and pin placement. You’ll thank yourself later.
I’d try to stagger the splices and use heat shrink butt connectors, and then before you shove the pins in the connector slide another piece of heat shrink tubing over it all to double seal the crimps.
Protect it all with some wire loom.
