Bought a high speed planter. Been running 7 to 8 mph when able to. Dealer said units are 195 lbs. Should run additional 190 lb down force to keep from bouncing. On old planter we kept down pressure to a minimum. Lot of wear on bearings and compaction from gauge wheels. If you have high speed planter how much down pressure are you running?
