West Central Indiana | Wide open fields with no tree lines getting heavy tillage. Combined with the wind we’re having is my guess. In my area it’s been tough trying to spray. If it’s a nice day, the wind has been blowing hard. I’d doubt it was any different 20+ years ago. We were very dry last fall and thru winter. Soil that got fall tillage was probably like powder. With no residue/moisture to hold it. You get dust.
Heavy rains and cool temps here now. So it’s mud instead of dust. | |
