This is normal, correct? Dawn effect. Don't think there is anything you can do about it.
Always enjoy reading your ideas and I applaud your willingness to dig deeper.
ETA The stress spike is likely related to cortisol, which I am guessing also causes the morning spike. Although I am no Dr. :)
