Sad to see so much erosion this year around the countryside. Too much and too many rains, which leads to more tillage to dry things out, then it rains again, leading to possibly another round of tillage to prepare for planting.
The climate is changing. Hotter for sure, and as the SW becomes hotter, it leads to more intense interactions with hot air masses from the SW colliding with gulf moisture leading to more severe storms and an expansion of tornado alley to the SE. Fire dangers have also expanded to include more eastern areas.
Also longer growing seasons on average to the N.
Similar to PVA, I didn't see a lot of dust while drilling beans. Well, wait, the inoculant was a bit of a nuisance. Occasionally saw a puff once in a while while planting corn, an actually would have liked a bit more dust as I planted corn int some marginal conditions in the wetter parts of some fields.
