Fair point. Some of the same things have been going on for a while that went on back in the 70's. Dad wants to bring son back to farm but they need more land base. Dad and son leverage themselves buying high priced land or pay money losing cash rent to grab up the land and hope we have a sustained period of higher prices to make it profitable. It all works until it doesn't.
