 Thumb of Michigan | Going to need batteries IF you plan on not using utility. HERE I'm on what they call net metering, I send excess (what I'm not using on a sunny day) back to the EC, after dark or cloudy days I draw from the grid.
Last month I sent them more than I received but still had a bill because of 'distribution' charge which goes on top of cost/payment of KHw. This is where batteries can help, excess would go to batteries, and you could draw the batteries down at night/cloudy days. Problem is cost of batteries and their longevity. | |
