We used to have a 6000 and I’d think 20mph would feel awfully fast driving it. Ours had a tow hitch and I towed ours plenty of miles faster than that and it would lose a little oil out the top but it never amounted to anything. You could always tow yours around for a few miles to see what it was like before you go to the trouble of changing the sprockets.
