Iowa | Will be converting some cropland to perennial pasture. Plan is to run home-raised grass calves on it.
Probably six weights going in for 100 days. About one acre per calf. Curious what the fence of choice would be starting fresh. I’ve never used the fix knot/high tensile woven. I’m kind of curious about it, although it’s expensive. Easier installation for me would be a tight barbed wire fence. Maybe put in a couple extra wires? Would love to hear opinions on best fence for grass calves/yearlings. | |
