Illinois
The chemical companies have been preaching “overlapping residuals” to us for a while now, saying not to let more than 3-4 weeks pass between applications. If I spray my pre early, then my post is due about planting time.

Unless I accept going to a 3 pass program, spraying the pre right after the planter gives me the most potential to make it to canopy while still having residual activity and using a 2 pass program.

BASF says Zidua Pro is fine on planted beans as long as they aren’t emerged, so that’s what I did. If it’s not fine, then I’ll ask them to compensate me, and I’ll not use it anymore. This is why I came on here asking for others’ experiences. I am not a weed and chemical scientist, so I tend to trust what the companies say.
