Little papa - 5/4/2026 11:18 That’s what I’m wondering. Why all the data centers and the need so fast? Yes suddenly in the last year or two plans to build these huge buildings all over. Also why the need for all this fresh water? I get the cooling but why would that not be done in a closed loop system?
The story being pushed here is that it is a closed loop system and therefore we don't need to worry. As far as I know there is only one in the works here in Sask. and already its stirring a lot of controversy. Health risks, high water and electricity use.
