| My god worst farm economy since the 80's? Try selling 8 cent hogs in 1998 that barely covered the feed bill, or dairy farming 2009 and feeding cattle in 2015. I know it came from a machinery dealer and that is probably the problem. Their mechanic hourly rates, parts and new equipment have gotten so out of whack that they may need to reevaluate from our vantage point. I've gone to buying equipment on auctions as I usually can find similar equipment at 70-85% of the dealer value and I fix anything I can. | |
