| As a farmer and former salesperson for a couple JD dealers I am not surprised that dealership owners and management say it is as bad as the 80 s.
It is not hard to see the issue! Machinery manufacturers are producing products that DO NOT cash flow especially when the producers required inputs have increased as well. Our revenue to afford the products and technology that seat shining managers of corporate Deere, Case etc don’t realize is not there.
Dealers are caught in the middle and I firmly believe they need to focus on customer satisfaction at the farm level and ride this thing out.
The crops will get planted and harvested and the livestock will be fed and cared for regardless what the machinery manufacturers want to believe | |
