 Pittsburg, Kansas | The problems arise from a combination of excessive consumption of sugar and consuming too often throughout the day which eventually causes insulin resistance and ultimately metabolic syndrome.
Consuming in moderation and limiting the consumption to no more than three times a day and you likely will be ok.
Too much and too often is what gets people into trouble.
Heavy cream and butter will not raise insulin much. Milk has lots of lactose sugar and will. Low fat or skim milk being the worst.
