Pittsburg, Kansas | Hard to believe how much history. Everything evolved around the Nile. We have enjoyed it a lot. Our program director told us 95% of the population is Muslim. We felt safe at all times, although that might have to do with prevention. We were always going through metal detectors and check points. Museum, hotel, any place of any significance had security and gun toting guards. Including on our river ship.
Getting on another boat in about 12 hours for a week of scuba diving in the Red Sea. At Hurghada in a hotel tonight.
