Eastern Shore of MD | Map of what I am asking about is attached. I see the missing row at times but I am asking about where the whole planter is skipping. Is it really starting and stopping planting like the map would suggest? We are really dry and cold so it is taking a lot longer than normal to emerge so I can not check the field yet.
I am the data and sprayer guy on our farm so really not sure what is going on in the planter cab when this is happening. I know we had to change up JD RTK this year due to them doing away with base stations here so not sure if this is a GPS issue or electrical issue. Just want to figure out so we can avoid this on our other farms to be planted yet. Planter is JD 1770 with electric drives.
