I see comments like this pretty regularly and it always bugs me. I’m going to lose my filter for a bit here. Do you think the owner of your pigs is making any more money per pig now than they were when you started? Their costs have gone up the same if not more than yours. I would say the pig owners are doing good if they can keep one of their main expenses (yardage) at the same rate as it was 17 years ago. And that will keep working for them as long as they can sell the concept. "We will pay you this and you won't get a raise for 17 years.  And actually, figuring inflation, you will essentially be getting a pay cut every year."
