With our 8 inch discharge wells they are capable of around 1500 gpm but are on power units so I can slow the flow way down. I know with our electric well that's probably 750 or less the well man said no problem choking it back. I often run like 10 Rainbird sprinklers on 20 foot 4 inch pipe. I do have a good bit of leakage at gaskets. A piece of pipe say a 6 inch diameter clamped on the farm end can help with water control. Remember that polypipe is basically like a canal. It won't hold pressure and you also need to let the air out. If you have to much water flow from your source might need a place for the excess to flow out the end.
There is no pressure on the 8” outlet pipe, it’s essentially a small buried canal.
