Mainly because it takes one heck of a lot of acres to utilize the manure. Also labor, many who own barns do the work or provide the labor. That’s 2 less headaches for the pig owners. I’m not defending them(pig owners), but to act like there’s some conspiracy going on isn’t correct either.
