So. IL.
I have a wheelman setup in my 4640 for the last 6 years and have had zero problems with it. That used to be my only tractor so I used it for everything. The contour passes leave a bit to be desired if you are planting, but AB passes hold a very nice straight line. I had trouble calibrating this spring so I finally had to call tech. support. My initial thought was great I’ll probably not get a call back until Monday as it was late on a Saturday afternoon. I left a voicemail and 5 minutes later my phone rang and the guy helped me through the issue. Just needed to re-install the firmware and all was good.

I recently bought an 8300 with integrated auto steer. Put a 7000 globe on it with a 2630 monitor. It works great but I do find it a lot less user friendly. Which I understand because it is a much more capable setup.

I would not shy away from the wheelman for what you are describing.
