Many mention the part about not knowing what your inputs are before they contract.
But grain is only going to get to a certain price. Its not going to go higher just because it costs more to produce it.
If only it were thst easy.
And, no, corn doesnt HAVE to go up just because urea goes up.
Altho it wont be as painful in the corn belt with their yields.
150 lbs nitrogen x .50/lb increase (so far)=$75.00 more
250 bushel x .30 increase=$75 more
At those numbers it works.
But...
It may go up more.
Not everyone gets 250. (Half thst here)
