Southeastern Alberta | Have a spot spray system (Sense Spray) on a Case IH 4450 running on the Case Branded Viper 4+ and it will do perfect coverage for blanket application as big as a field can be.
But when I switch to my select spray system, it will only map for so long and then it just goes blank. The system keeps working just as well as before (with no overlap control though). It just doesn't show up on the mapping. It will even show the nozzle sections turning on and off on the boom on the screen, but won't paint it on the screen.
If we are not using it much (10% spray coverage) it will go 4 or 500 acres, but when it is a pretty weedy field (50-60%), it will only go 100 acres or so. That makes me think that it has something to do with data amounts or memory. We have to start a new field and then away it goes again.
Last fall we tried to do the updates to version 25 but some things were not talking well to each other and they had to revert back to v23.
I turned off corrected coverage because it seems like with the fast on and off times it doesn't actually mark it in time because of the look ahead. The manual look ahead on is set to 2.5 seconds and and look ahead off is set to 0. I don't know if that is something I should be messing with?
Does anyone have issues like this in any other application with these monitors and is there a fix?
