I started planting on the 13th. That corn you can row from the road. Looks good, it might freeze off tonight though. Some of my best corn in the past froze off, so I'm not concerned. I am glad that I didn't plant any soybeans though! There were some guys here planting soybeans on the 10th of April! If they emerged at all yet, they're gonna be cooked.
Unless it's going to be below 30-32 for several hours I wouldn't worry about just emerging soybeans. Beans at the VE to VC stage are pretty durable. |
