I've been using the same email account for more than 20 years. I receive a tremendous amount of spam (probably dozens per day), but my mail provider (FastMail) is fantastic at spam filtering, so it's relatively uncommon that I have to look at or deal with it myself. Maybe a few per week. I'd recommend just getting a better mail host (if that's an option for you).
At what point do you get a new email address?
