Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Just throwing in I know a little
We own a 16" straight PTO pump "pumps 8,000 a min"
27000 gal per acre is 1" deep over an acre
SO 8,000 GPM will move about 1 1/4 ACRE feet of water an Hour
An 8" will do 2000 GPM max
Just FWIW
16" flat tubing is stupid expensive
Where ever you exhaust the water will wash out like crazy
the end of the hose will whip unless you tie it down
To attach the tubing to the outlet of the pump use ratchet straps
Another IF the pumping tractor is below flood water level--- behind a levy 100% chance the levy will fail
I'm thinking for less than $10K you can buy a used pull type 16" pump --
just drop it over the edge of your sump area --dig in the rear of the tractor down and put the front end up so driveline is somewhat straight
Good luck Dan
