Southeast Colorado | From what I see around me...........the biggest and best managers have funds coming from several other enterprises. Don't get me wrong..........I think one can make money farming and ranching. I've managed to eek out a little........and don't have anything else bringing money in. I can only imagine how much is coming in for some of these guys who are farming 20x to 30x what I am..........and have a lot of family owned land with presumably no payments left to make on it. So if I can make a little.......making payments on 100% of my land base.........they've surely got a leg up. | |
