In my dream world these payments gets us to better times when we have dissolved the fertilizer monopolies, have better competition for inputs with chemicals and other items. Reduced regulation that causes extra expense.
Right now, farmers are just a pass through entity from the government to corporate America.
Get all of that corrected and we can possibly do away with these payments. |
