Illinois | you nailed it, No one with any actual working knowledge of Production Ag Financing was involved. you had a relationship manager whose job is to be a salesmen/cheerleader for the bank to get new business. The underwriting department is used to commercial credits not Ag Credits and they don't understand why this is just not a normal deal. Then there was pressure from the boys at the top because of its size to get the deal done. Seen it more than once and the same result in every case. The bigger the deal the dumber the banks get.
