I googled where the highest producing wheat areas are, and it's mostly from south of Witchita north through central Kansas. Not western kansas. So, the big wheat producing areas might be ok moisture wise, although some guys said north central kansas is very dry.


The further east you go, the more corn and row crops have transitioned in. Us out west are even doing it..........but if you're looking for wheat acres period.........you about have to come out west.
