S Illinois | So why is the government involved? Keep in mind peanuts, cotton, rice are the 3 biggest recipients of government support on a per acre basis. Must be the cotton picker manufacturers or the peanut digger equipment makers.
Also will sure be nice for farmer organizations not to have to lobby for things like the Farm Bill as it doesn’t help the producer.
