| I got a call Tuesday from FSA that my SDRP payment in January was in error and I need to send them a check.
Apparently they did a data pull and determined due to my reported production of soybeans for 2024 was low enough to be eligible for a payment. We will call this production figure X.
Since then, RMA did another data pull, I assume for the next round of payment, and said my production for 2024 was "Y" which was substantially higher than figure "X" and I didn't qualify for the aforementioned payment and needed to repay it.
I called my insurance agent who looked into the matter and the data they had and reported to RMA that my production was never "X" or "Y" but actually was "Z". Figure "Z" was higher than "X" or "Y" and they have no idea where RMA got either of their figures nor can FSA account for the discrepancy in production info.
Truthfully I got a payment according to them I didn't qualify for so I will repay it, but gotta love the government.
