| If you truly want to make a cow herd that will "do the work" here's a suggestion. Do an EPD search for bulls with a positive $EN. Then compare those to the most popular bulls in use. In many cases it is shocking. There are some good podcasts out there. Try "Working Cows" for one. There are others as well. One thing about today, there is a wealth of information out there. Do a search for Burke Teichert. The guy managed some huge ranches. | |
